Pete Hawkes has over 10 years of interactive design and motion experience working with a wide range of clients including Ogilvy Interactive, KFC, Liz Claiborne, JWT, and the Sci-Fi Channel. He’s oh-so-very-close to finishing an MFA in Design Media Arts from UCLA and holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University. He has taught interactive design at Utah Valley University and the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Pete’s work has been presented at the AGIdeas Design Conference in Melbourne, the Los Angeles Unified School District Media Arts Salon, and Verge: the OgilvyOne Global Digital Summit. Recent work was nominated as a final jury selection in FILE, an international electronic languages festival in Sao Paulo. He is currently working at Oblong in Los Angeles.
